Daniela was born in 1978 in Milan, where she lives and works today. After her aart studies she enrolled in the Brera Fine Arts Academy where shw graduated in Painting. She then turned her attention to scuplture, in marble, stone and lead before assuming a long lasting position as lecturer at the Academy’s school of Sculpture.
Her first personal exhibit in 2009, Tracce urbane, curated by Angela Madesani at Galleria Quintocortile, was followed in 2010 by L’altro mercato at Studio Vanna Casati and Frammenti silenziosi at Galleria Spaziotemporaneo, and in 2013 by Agganci di fase in Monteggiori Arte Cultural Association, Camere comunicanti at Galleria Gli Eroici Furori, and Il giorno imperfetto in the Viscontea Tower of Lecco.
Her two personal exhibits in 2015 were Convivio at Spazio Aperto San Fedele and il Il giorno Imperfetto at La casa della memoria. In 2011, she took part in the Venice Biennal in the section “L’arte non è cosa nostra”. She won the San Fedele Visual Arts Prize for two years running 2008 and 2009, in the latter year winning the Monza’s Young People’s Biennial Acquisition Prize. Her work has been shown in collective shows and art fairs in Italy and abroad, such as Arte Fiera and Miart. She has received commisions for sculptures from Germany, Turkey, Austria, and Italy.
